For UK limited company directors
Your company has deadlines you haven't heard of yet.
Miss one and penalties start automatically. DueHouse tracks every HMRC and Companies House deadline and explains each in plain English.
No card required. Everything below is launching soon — see what's coming at launch.
What actually changed
This isn't marketing spin — here's exactly what HMRC changed, straight from gov.uk.
What closed
HMRC's free "File your accounts and Company Tax Return" service closed on 31 March 2026. It used to let small companies file their Corporation Tax return (CT600) and accounts together, for free, directly with HMRC.
Who's affected
Any UK limited company that files its own Corporation Tax return without commercial software. Most micro and small companies used the free HMRC tool — if that includes you, you now need a different route.
Your options now
Pay an accountant (typically £500–1,500+/yr), use a filing-only tool (from around £59/yr, filing only — no tracking or explanations), or use DueHouse: deadline tracking today, CT600 filing launching soon from £149/yr.
What's still free: Companies House accounts and confirmation statements (via WebFiling), and Self Assessment (via HMRC's free online service). Only the Corporation Tax return (CT600) lost its free HMRC filing route.

Questions, answered honestly
Can I still file for free?
It depends which filing. Companies House accounts and confirmation statements: yes, still free via WebFiling. Self Assessment: yes, still free via HMRC's online service. Your Corporation Tax return (CT600): no — HMRC closed its free filing service on 31 March 2026. From 1 April 2026 you need commercial software, an accountant, or a paper return with a "reasonable excuse". See gov.uk for the source.
When does DueHouse launch?
We're building now. Deadline tracking and reminders launch first; CT600 and accounts filing follow shortly after. Join the list and we'll email you the date.
What will DueHouse cost?
Around £15/month or £149/year once launched. For comparison, accountants typically charge £500–1,500+/yr for year-end filing, and filing-only tools start around £59/yr (filing only — no tracking or explanations). Founding reservers lock in £99 for year one.
Is my data safe?
We only store your email, and your company number or year-end if you give them to us. They're used solely to email you about launch, your health check, and (if you reserve) your founding price. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Full details are in our privacy policy.
What if I already have an accountant?
DueHouse isn't a replacement for advice — think of it as a safety net that catches anything that slips through the cracks between meetings, and a plain-English translator for what each deadline actually means.
Do I need to do anything today?
No. Reserving your spot doesn't cost anything and doesn't commit you to anything. You'll still need to handle your current obligations as normal until DueHouse launches.
